IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION

In conformity with its vision and mission the Care India Foundation has recently taken steps to establish two Senior secondary level educational institution. One is GREENLAND PUBLIC SCHOOL, Bilasipara and another one is A.M.A.M GREENLAND AND PUBLIC SCHOOL, Lakhiganj.

          GREENLAND PUBLIC SCHOOL, BILASIPARA

In conformity with the vision and mission of Care India Foundation has been established and running a day cum residential English  Medium School under C.B.S.E curriculum since 2008. At present the school has 20 (twenty) experienced and dedicated teaching and 9 ( nine) non-teaching staff members. The school has two residential Hostels on rent. Up to this year, the School has to its credit a lot of educated youths for serving the society and the people of the state in general and those of this vast locality in particular. 

          A.M.A.M GREENLAND PUBLIC SCHOOL, LAKHIGANJ

In conformity with its vision and mission the Care India Foundation has recently taken steps to establish a Senior secondary level educational institution at Lakhiganj in its own land. The Foundation is determined to provide inclusive education for children of the backward, neglected and economically ruined families of the remote and rural areas. Preparation is going on in full swing of the said Institution in the name – “ABDUL MOTIN AHMED MEMORIAL GREENLAND PUBLIC SCHOOL” Lakhiganj.

Access to quality education is a dream for every child yet poverty often stands on the way. Through our Educational Institution we are dedicated to supporting the children belonging from low-income families in their pursuit of quality education.

          CARE INDIA SPECIALIZED ADOPTION AGENCY BILASIPARA

Care India Foundation has been running a Specialized Adoption Agency in the name of CARE INDIA SPECIALIZED ADOPTION AGENCY, Bilasipara since 2024 which is registered under Juvenile Justice (Care and protection of children) Act 2015. Adoption is the most important program of the organization to help kids without a family to have a permanent home. Here at SAA we are providing nutritional food, clothing, shelter and early education to the child under the age group of 0 to 6 years. Also we are committed to providing child welfare services and promote adoption. We believe that ‘Right to a Family’ is the birth right of every kid and adoption is the best option. 

          CARE INDIA CHILDREN HOME

In conformity with its vision and mission we the Care India Foundation has been running a Child Care Institution in the name of CARE INDIA CHILDREN HOME, BILASIPARA since 2017 which is registered under Juvenile Justice (Care and protection of children) Act 2015. We provide food, clothing, shelter and Education to the orphan children, street children, missing children, vulnerable children, child labor, child marriage, abandoned and underprivileged children from the age group of 6 (six) to 18 (eighteen) years. Since its establishment the CCI extend its services to 500 children and rehabilitated them in their safe environment.

CARE INDIA CHILDREN HOME, BILASIPARA, is a dedicated child care institution that operates in accordance with the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015. Established with the mission to provide holistic care and support to vulnerable children, the CARE INDIA CHILDREN HOME offers a comprehensive range of services including food, clothing, shelter, and education to children in need.

Since its inception, the CCI has been steadfast in its commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in need. The institution has successfully extended its services to accommodate and rehabilitate a remarkable 500+children, ensuring that they are given the opportunity to thrive in a secure and caring environment.

CARE INDIA CHILDREN HOME has become a beacon of hope for children who have faced various forms of adversity. By offering essential resources such as food, clothing, shelter and education, the institution is making a profound impact on the lives of these young individuals. Through its dedicated efforts, CARE INDIA CHILDREN HOME is not only meeting the basic needs of these children but also providing them with the tools and support needed to break free from cycles of poverty and vulnerability.

The institution’s tireless efforts serve as an inspiration to others, demonstrating the transformative power of compassion and dedication in the lives of young individuals who need it most.

IN THE FIELD OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITY

Care Indian Foundation has already been registered under Right to Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. It has been working as an implementing agency of District Disability Rehabilitation Centre (DDRC) in Dhubri district of Assam since Financial Year 2022-2023 under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. At present there are 10 nos. of qualified staff working under the project and a large number of persons with disabilities are benefitted by the project of Dhubri district.

Total 2498 nos. of disabled persons are benefitted during the financial year 2023-24 out of which 774 nos. of disabled persons of different categories get Therapeutic services. Therapeutic services at DDRC have been aimed at enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Medical Board has organized District Disability Rehabilitation Centre, Dhubri for screening and detection of disability for issuing disability certificate during the year in collaboration with Dhubri Medical College and Hospital, Dhubri. Total 880 nos. of disabled person have appeared in such camp for assessment of their disability percentage.

A series of awareness campaigns and training programs were conducted throughout the year to sensitize various stakeholders in the community about disability, early detection and the importance of inclusion.

The District Disability Rehabilitation Centre (DDRC) has been actively working throughout the year to provide essential services and support to individuals with disabilities. Our mission is to promote inclusion and empower people with disabilities through rehabilitation, education and awareness. This report outlines the key activities and achievements of DDRC, including therapeutic services, disability certification and awareness campaigns. 

IN THE FIELD OF HEALTH

We the CARE INDIA FOUNDATION has been running two Targeted Intervention (TI) project one of Female Sex Worker (FSW) at Kokrajhar district since 2022 another one in Tinsukia District on Migrant Labor since 2023 which is supported by Assam State AIDS Control Society (ASACS) and sponsored by National AIDS control Organization.
